From a shy reader to cheerful coach
I grew up in a tiny village just outside Chiang Mai. Back then even the Thai alphabet looked like a wall I couldn’t climb. Teachers called me “slow,” classmates giggled, and for a while I believed them.
Until one gentle teacher leaned down and whispered...
“It’s okay, try again.”
The day I finally read the word “fox” out loud, the whole world lit up. I raced home shouting, “I’m not stupid!”.
Then spent the afternoon helping my friends sound out their own words, one patient step at a time.
Years later, learning English felt like starting that mountain climb all over again. But my mentors - Teacher Winnie and my friend
Rick, taught with such joy that the struggle turned into curiosity. Watching Rick light up while he explained a new phrase, I realised sharing knowledge is what I’m meant to do.
So today I’m more than a teacher; I’m the language buddy I once needed. I’ll walk beside you, cheer for every stumble, and turn those tiny wins into lifelong confidence. 💛
